Horror Made Here: Overview- Warner Brothers Horror Made Here: A Festival of Frights is back again this year and it’s bigger and scarier than ever! This year’s line-up includes “IT, ARKHAM, THE CONJURING UNIVERSE, THE EXORCIST FORBIDDEN SCREENING and Nightmare on Camp Crystal Lake” there is also a Behind the Screams where you can see a special exhibit of Tim Burton and see authentic props and costumes. This year’s event has a lot to offer for those who love horror movies.

IT Maze Review- The front facade for this maze is the Neibolt House but the entrance is behind the Neibolt House and into another house. This maze is really detailed with plenty of things from the movie. The maze quickly throws you into the world of the Pennywise the clown as he terrifies his victims. If you have a fear clowns then I got some bad news for you, this maze has a great deal of clowns and they tend to come out of dark corners and even scared me. This maze is fun, and has a beautiful ending, one could say its breathtaking. This is one of my favorite mazes of the event and I can’t wait to see what they have planned in the future.

Arkham Maze Review- If you’re a huge fan of Batman then you know what the Arkham maze is about but for those who do not know it’s where all Batman’s Villains go after he captures them. When you enter the maze, you are greeted by Harley Quinn who takes you to the next room. Then you see the Joker, who has taken over. He sits on a high podium and is dressed as a judge. The joker infomrs the crowd that everyone is guilty and is sentenced to Arkham were all the villains are loose. You will see many noticeable villains like Poison Ivy, Two-Face and the Riddler. This idea translates into a brilliant maze and Warner Brothers made sure to include a lot of details across the maze. I highly recommend going into this maze and if you’re a Batman fan I may say no more.

THE CONJURING UNIVERSE Maze Review- This is a unique maze walkthrough because groups of people are taken to the maze one at a time. This can make for a terrifying maze because you will see supernatural things happening around the Warren house. For example, you will hear steps above you and think its fake but it’s not, if you happen to look up at the ceiling near the stairs in the first room you enter you will see the Nun looking back at you, which sent a thrill through our spines. The maze starts off at the Warren house were the Annabelle doll has gone missing and now the spirits are free and haunting the house. I would say do this maze first because it tends to have the longest wait times.

Nightmare On Camp Crystal Lake Review- In order to get Camp Crystal Lake you must board a small tram. Once you arrive you see Jason standing near the lake. Then you will see Freddy near a house that has a house projected with fire. After that you will enter a camp where the Camp Crystal counselors are being haunted by Jason and Freddy. The atmosphere of this attraction was great, and i did feel like a camper. I wish it would have been a longer experience, but overall the slasher fan in me was pleased.

Horror Made Here Review- This was our first time attending HORROR MADE HERE: A FESTIVAL OF FRIGHTS and we would like to thank Warner Brothers for inviting us to this year’s event. There is a lot to do and many more things to see. It was so much fun to be on the backlot of so many famous properties, and we had a blast in the exhibits (a nice rest from the monsters). The event was different than our usual haunts we’ve visited, but we loved the interactions with the characters and amazing sets designs. This attraction is definitely worth a visit this Halloween.
